Venom & Fire is a short film about a serpent handling church in Middlesboro, Kentucky. It was created for the International Documentary Challenge 2012 where it was selected as one of 12 finalists and was awarded best director and best original score. Director Brandon Faris produced this film while serving as creative director at zoneCG. Currently, he serves as the director for LEAPframe digital film and motion design, a Cincinnati video production company. The documentary features Pastor Coots and his family and the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus Name in Middlesboro, KY. Pastor Coots is soon to be featured in Snake Salvation a reality show on National Geographic.
