RED WIRE BLACK WIRE: ROBOTS AND ROSES

Few bands let you go behind the scenes and see glimpses of their personal lives, especially their lives before the age of at least 17 or so…The beginning images of this intimate and unique video, the latest from Brooklyn-based Red Wire Black Wire features images from the childhood of lead singer Doug Walters and his brother and bandmate Greg. The video for “Roses and Robots” is composed of footage spliced with pieces of the band playing live. Doug explains the inspiration for “Roses and Robots” lyrics for us, “It’s a song describing a dream – so the found footage, old family footage, and current footage of the band evokes the surreal nostalgia of dreaming.
