CANON 5D MARK II TEST RIDE

Tiny little movie here from Sam Javanrouh testing the Canon 5D Mark II with a super wide angle lens while biking. Pretty steady arm on this guy and a sweet tour of the city from his cycle.  Reminded me of the ’86 Kevin Bacon/Lawrence Fishburne vehicle “Quicksilver”, just sans the drug dealers, rival bike messengers and sadly, the mesh gloves (tear)… mmmk, so god awful movie but a deliciously guilty pleasure.  Not only is there an amazing synthesizer score by Genesis keyboardist Tony Banks to keep you pumped, it’s grade-A 80’s Bacon cycling the streets of Manhattan (filmed in San Francisco) in a beret. Pivotal film to up your 6 degrees skillz. If you haven’t already, you should see it, because I live it in my heart every day.  “Sometimes things don’t happen the way you planned, sometimes you could end up lower than you started…but winning is a feeling that you never lose.”
