Joe Vele lives in New York City. He is a graphic artist/photographer and co-founder of the Discosalt Artist Collective. Born and raised in New York, he graduated with a degree in Art and Political Science from Connecticut College and completed a Masters in International Affairs and Urban Studies from New School University. His stylized illustrations, comics and minimalist photography mix elements of noir, subculture and urban decay and have been featured in various publications.
