Back in July, Discosalt discovered a one-man experimental music project based in NYC called The Cloud I’m Under . A mix of power pop and aphex style electro solo project reminiscent of early Kraftwerk. After the success of the first album, Ears Ringing/Hearts Full/Pockets Empty, The Cloud I’m Under is back with a sophmore album entitled: Bleeps for Days Here, a 7 song EP inspired by the sounds of the 80′s. The end result is not a retro throwback, but has sonic nods to Gated snares, John Carpenter and Duran Duran.
You can preview a few tracks from the EP below:
1. Breathing
2. Don’t Ever Come Back
3. Safety First
4. Running out of Air
5. Bleeps For Days
6. Seeing Into The Past
7. Always Wanting More
