If you have ever tried to ride a bike naked, you will really appreciate the latest video from the The Flaming Lips.  The video  “Watching the Planets” off their latest album Embryonic, features Lips front man Wayne Coyne inside his signature man-sized plastic bubble traversing over throngs of naked nymph like cyclists being framed in perpetuity, oh and a giant furry vagina. Boobs, butts,  balls and bikes… and it wasnt filmed in Greenpoint? By the end of the video, Coyne bares Heavy D and the boys just like everyone else in the video. You really need to watch this. The Lips are a tough act to categorize, they have always pushed the boundaries on weirdness with bizarre song and album titles like “Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus with Needles” and “Yeah, I Know It’s a Drag… But Wastin’ Pigs Is Still Radical” and are known for their eccentric  live shows which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, giant heads, Coyne in his plastic bubble and a giant stage vagina… so this new album and video should come as no surprise.  “To say that the album this single hails from is bizarre would be a gross understatement; to say that the video for this song is even more so in its own right…This is some strange Kool-Aid, homeslice.”
