What: Critical Mass Ride and After-Party

This months ride starts at Union Square and costumes are encouraged. The after party starts at Surreal Estate, with dance music by the Rude Mechanical Orchestra, an activist marching band that covers Le Tigre and Beyoncé. You heard me. Food, complements of the Critical mass “diving team”. For the lay men, “dumpster diving”…so uh yeah, maybe have a bite before you head out.

Megapromoter Todd P. is somehow involved in this party at Lombardy Street featuring eerie atmospheric rockers Crystal Stilts and not so spooky Vivian Girls. A good mix of intense performances, a killer rooftop patio overlooking the Midtown skyline, the Greenpoint industrial district and the Kosciusko Bridge, and no neighbors. Hopefully as the fun a crowd as the acoustic BBQ. Just too bad the “White Diamonds“ wont be there to share some more candy with us…
