This weekend I had movie-goers (excuse me, “film” goers) of the Tribeca Film Festival to keep me company outside my bedroom window… and they had me. While I have yet to partake in the festival, I have definitely been exposed to film festival participants. (I’m still working on getting proper blinds on my window) Late Saturday, outside the AMC Lowes Village 7, while on my way back from an excursion (that involved an insatiable craving for pita-cradled street meat ensconced in delicious special sauce – hot and “white” – amidst lettuce, tomato and onions) I rubbed shoulders with celebrity/teen idol Ryder
Strong aka Shawn Hunter, of the new film Irish Twins. The film, which Strong both acted, co-directed and wrote with his brother Shiloh Strong, is a departure from his earlier career and involves two brothers whose differences become apparent on the eve of their fathers funeral.
